What is Intermediary Due Diligence (IDD) Team responsible for?

The Intermediary Due Diligence (IDD) team is a crucial component of the International Intermediary Oversight (IIO) Department. The IDD team's work is integral to ensuring compliance and maintaining the integrity of the intermediary oversight process within the organization.
IDD is now looking for an Intern who is who is eager to learn and contribute to our team. The intern will be supporting the team in enhancing distribution & marketing oversight framework covering over 1000 intermediaries worldwide. The ideal candidate should be a current student with a keen interest in developing a career in financial services. They should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail. If you are fluent in English, have a passion for client service, and possess strong organizational and time management skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to grow professionally within our dynamic department.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of Intern - International Intermediary Oversight?

• Assisting with the day-to-day management of the due diligence process for all types of intermediaries.
• Helping coordinate and execute initial, ad-hoc, and periodic due diligence reviews.
• Communicating with clients via phone, email, and video to gather documents, collect information about their activity, attend virtual on-site meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and follow up on outstanding actions.
• Contributing to the enhancement and evolution of the distribution, marketing, and AML oversight framework.
• Participating in ad-hoc projects and initiatives, collaborating with various internal functions across regions.
• Assisting in the maintenance of policies and procedures to ensure robustness under scrutiny.
• Assisting in audits and regulatory requests.

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?

• Current student status,
• Educational Background: Enrollment in a relevant field of study, such as finance, economics, law, or business administration, is preferred. No professional experience is required, but any relevant experience or internships would be beneficial.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills are crucial, as the intern will need to interact with clients and internal teams. Fluency in English; additional languages such as German or French can be an advantage.
• Analytical Abilities: The ability to analyze data and documentation to support due diligence processes and prepare due diligence reports.
• Attention to detail: Meticulous and organized with a focus on delivering the highest quality outcomes.
• Cultural Awareness: The ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and collaborate with international teams.
• Ability to work 25-30h per week within 9.00 am - 4.00 pm time frame
