Job Description

Position Summary
  • The Audit Analyst/ Senior Analyst, working with the Internal Audit Group and will assist in the execution and delivery of the various business, regulatory, compliance and operational audits in accordance with the Internal Audit Plan and support the annual Internal Audit risk assessment process. The individual will work with Internal Audit Management to perform the following:
  • Support the lnternal Audit function in providing Management and the Board with an independent assessment on the adequacy and effectiveness of the Firm's processes for controlling its activities and managing its risks.
  • Completion of audit assignments in accordance with the approved lnternal Audit Plan or any ad-hoc reviews as requested by Head of Internal Audit, Continental Europe and Head of Internal Audit, EMEA & APAC.
  • Through completion of audit assignments and identified findings, assist the Head of Internal Audit in liaising with Management to ensure that the appropriate Management Action is taken to mitigate the risks down to an acceptable level.
  • Assist Management in the remediation of these findings.

Major Responsibilities:
  • The Individual is expected to work with the Internal Audit Group in accomplishing the following:
  • Perform risk-based audit work, including detailed walkthrough, flowcharts, documentation review, and substantive testing.
  • Assess control strengths and weaknesses and determine compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Prepare clear and concise audit work papers.
  • Draft and present comprehensive management action plans and audit reports as final deliverables.
  • Follow-up with accountable business and compliance leaders and their teams to ensure control issues are effectively resolved.
  • Coordinate work with Risk & Compliance and other control-related functions, including Internal Audit.
  • Use relationship management skills to build business relationships with audit clients.
  • Positively participate as part of the wider IA team in all situations.
  • Ensure that audits are delivered on time and to a high standard.

Skills:
  • Strong analytical and investigation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A mix of Internal Audit, External Audit, Compliance, Risk Management and/or consulting experience.
  • Be able to lead meetings with management independently or drive the conversation to obtain audit results.
  • Keeps up to date with industry developments, legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow directions and receive constructive feedback on work products submitted for review.
  • Familiarity with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Education/ Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • One or more certifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, CAMS).
  • 1 to 3 years' prior experience working in audit, compliance and/or risk management function
