Junior Finance Business Partner / Finance Business Partner
Summary
Aon is in process of integrating NFP into the Aon family of companies. As part of the Aon-NFP Integration team, specifically working in Finance in the Value Creation team, you will gain a unique opportunity to work with multiple areas across ABS, functions, and Client Value teams in support of ensuring we meet and exceed the M&A deal model projections for the purchase of NFP. Ability to work on synergy identification and tracking across both NFP and Aon accounting systems to track, forecast, and report on revenue, M&A, and cost synergies across both companies in North America and UK. This role will be integral for reviewing all aspects of booking transactions through to modeling and forecasting synergies against the deal model rules and incentive plans. Will be one of the main contacts for all finance processes across all programs and projects approved as part of the value creation parameters of the deal.

This role gives the Finance Business Partner responsibility for the maintaining the company's financial statements, management reporting and financial controls. Success in the role depends on your ability to partner with senior management and provide accurate financial data that supports business needs.

What the day will look like
- Managing the monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing process
- Producing high quality and accurate submissions of financial information to group head office
- Preparing and presenting the monthly forecast updates to senior management
- Managing the annual budgeting process, including the design of templates and the critical review of planning assumptions
- Partnering with the Country leadership and other teams to deliver analysis and insights to influence the business and drive financial performance
- Maintaining overall responsibility for the day-to-day accounting of the dedicated entities (incl. month end close tasks activities)
- Managing the cash flow, treasury, account payables and account receivables processes
- Overseeing quarterly and annual regulatory reporting process to local authorities (regulatory templates preparation, conversion and submission)
- Managing of the annual statutory audit process (incl. liaison with auditors, preparation of Financial Statements) e.g. under FRS102, IFRS, Malta GAAP
- Preparing documents for the Board Meetings and additional ad hoc financial disclosures
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Minimum of 5 years' accounting experience
- Professional accounting qualification would be a plus
- Knowledge of financial technical accounting
- IFRS knowledge and experience in auditors liaison is a plus
- Fluency in English
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
- An ability to continually seek to improve
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Knowledge of Portfolio Investment Reporting (PIR) and AIC governance process "a plus"
- Previous M&A experience "a plus"
- Proven ability to model scenarios to meet and exceed our deal model expectations "a plus"
- Previous experience building forecasts of project related efforts based on cost, savings, and revenue projections
