Team Profile:

Corporate Treasury provides corporate finance advisory services to senior management and the business units, maintaining the firm's liquidity, optimizing its capital base, and coordinate the Firm's recovery and resolution planning. The Asia region consists of a hub in Hong Kong and regional offices in Tokyo, Beijing, Seoul, Singapore, and Mumbai. Corporate Treasury Asia is seeking an Associate level professional with strong aptitude for learning.

You will:
As part of the Hong Kong treasury team, you will support the capital management of Morgan Stanley entities across Asia to ensure they meet regulatory and internal capital requirements
> Analyze capital implications resulting from business plans and activities, advising business units on optimal capital mix and return metrics
> Optimize capital adequacy in the region and partner with stakeholders across Asia, London and New York in the execution of capital transactions
> Assist in the production of the annual Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (CAAP) for entities in the region and fulfill the regulatory submission requirements
> Keep abreast of new regulatory capital rules and evaluate potential impact to legal entities
> Liaise with groups across Corporate Treasury and around the Firm to support strategic initiatives including automation efforts and process enhancements
> Prepare and review capital related materials for senior management and key governance forums

You have:

> Min. 3 years of working experience in the Banking industry or Consultancy background in Finance
> Working knowledge of Finance and/or Corporate Treasury. Previous working experience in these areas directly or indirectly is beneficial
> Well-developed analytical capabilities, strong attention to detail, excellent numerical ability, including ability to summarize complex business problems and detailed analysis with clarity is a must
> Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly excel and powerpoint
> Excellent communication in English to facilitate interaction with teams across both local offices and globally; additional Asian languages a strong plus
> Good project management skills, ability to effectively meet and manage competing deadlines> Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, proactive nature and determination to see tasks through from beginning to end
> Bachelor's degree. Post graduate qualifications (achieved or working towards) is an advantage
