Job Title:
Project Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Job Costing for Projects
  • Maintain active list of projects.
  • Maintain all relevant revenue and expenditure for each project.
  • Check projects created in system and ensure that contract sum and budget tally to external cost sheet submitted for approval.
  • Highlight any overhead approved and ensure that system is up-to-date.
  • Investigate potential over/under budget items.
  • Identify and investigate open PO with projects completed.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders on project related queries.

Month-end closing
  • Preparation of Journal Entries related to project.
  • Adjustment and reclassification of accounts when necessary (eg. Timeclocking).
  • Internal transfer and rental re-charge.
  • Shipment of inventory to WIP for projects related to capture cost.

Annual Audit
  • Attend to auditors' queries.

Education / Experience:
  • Diploma in Accounting or Equivalent.
  • Min 3 years relevant experience.
  • Job costing knowledge.
  • Proficient with accounting entries and treatments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Experience in EPICOR is an added advantage.
  • Highly analytical with attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Possess good working attitude and able to work in a demanding and high-pressure environment.
  • Proactive team member.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
