Role Overview

The role of Senior Manager in the Country HR team in Bangalore, Indiais the lead responsible for the People agenda of a sub business unit(s) within the location.

You will have the opportunity to work in a highly matrixed global organization, strong business focused teams and partners including Centres of excellence in the People Function.

Responsible to drive and implement core People processes and projects/initiatives, the people vision and driving the one LSEG" ambition!

Role Summary

As a key member of the Country People Partner team, you will lead partnering for specific business unit(s), own responsibility for consultancy related to the people agenda of the business unit, driving business goals, supporting the colleague lifecycle and partnership with senior leaders.

Subject matter authority, sound understanding on a variety of Human Resources related topics. Develops local HR solutions. Engages as a partner for the business unit(s) and accountable for significant projects, advisory and consultation to Business and within People Function. Regular exposure to senior leadership!

What you will be doing:

Develop the agenda related to human capital for responsible functional areas in the location with the business. Ensure alignment with group strategic objectives, focusing on long-term strategic vision of the organisation.

Partner with the leaders to identify and recommend People priorities to support business agenda and encouraging a positive culture. Offer solutions to work through people implications of significant business decisions, influencing decisions through data, metrics and insight and support strategic workforce planning.

Review and guide on wider People Function initiatives generated by central or global groups. Collaborate closely with key groups to ensure they are aware of business requirements and drive efforts around growing employee engagement holistically.

Ensure a consistent approach to People initiatives and compliance with regional and global policies and legal requirements whilst adhering to local statutory requirements under employment legislation.

Lead projects, provide HR resourcing to business projects to ensure sharp focus on people/ organisation aspects of the project.

Partner in all matters associated with people, mentor business unit leadership teams to grow individual and team capability in areas of HR, such as the colleague engagement, performance enablement, EDI, reward frameworks, talent and related planning and lead delivery and implementation.

What You will bring:

1. Significant business engagement and broader HR experience, Specialist skills and experiences in the field of management that requires diverse practices or procedures.

2. Demonstrable track record of advising and developing People Leaders at all levels.

3. Ability to deliver on matters of a diverse scope where analysis of situations requires skills and understanding of current industry trends

4. Significant ability to influence senior leaders, ability to lead change, work experience in global environments People and team management experience will be useful

5. Has strong personal credibility to be a valued and trusted member of management teams

6. Supports continuous transformations and embeds the organisational cultural intent and leadership behaviours
