We have a team of 90 professional and support staff across two office locations.

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and client focused Senior Accountant to join our high performing Business Advisory team. Working under the leadership of Managers and Partners, you will be part of a friendly and professional team where you will have the opportunity to deliver accounting services to a range of clients.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Preparing financial statements and statutory compliance reports including BAS, GST, FBT and tax returns for individuals, Companies, Partnerships and Trusts
  • Providing tax planning and business advisory services to clients
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and seek to further these relationships through quality product delivery
  • Initiating and nurturing business development opportunities and the brand reputation of our firm
  • Using a range of accounting software including Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks
  • Assist Managers with reviewing files as requested
  • Providing and analysing financial and non-financial information to assist clients to monitor performance
  • Participating in and contributing to team meetings
About you

We are seeking candidates with the following skills and attributes:
  • Working towards or completed CA/CPA qualifications
  • 3+ years' experience within Business Services, with strong technical skills;
  • A solid understanding of accounting standards and reporting responsibilities;
  • Experience using accounting software including APS, MYOB and cloud based tools, e.g. Xero, QuickBooks
  • Be an enthusiastic team player, with a drive to take ownership and responsibility over your own work;
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, with the confidence to liaise with senior stakeholders and clients;
  • Be organised and able to manage your own priorities with tasks given to you by multiple managers;
  • Experience in training and mentoring junior accountants;
