Job Description

The purpose of this role is to provide a first-class service in the processing and payment of all Unit Trust distribution payments to ensure they are made in line with regulations and in accordance with agreed SLAs. What you'll be doing:
  • Analysing fund level data to ensure accurate feeds are made into RuFus, for the register to be compliant with internal procedures, FCA regulations and HMRC guidelines
  • Verifying rates and prices using clearly defined procedures as applicable, with a degree of subjectivity in reaching the conclusion
  • Communicating the actions taken to all relevant parties, i.e., Northern Trust, LGIM and BNYM in a timely manner to comply with the FCA regulations HMRC Guidelines and internal risk-based guidelines
  • Ensuring the timely delivery of distribution information to clients, such as proformas and VIP client correspondence, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Submitting regulatory data and tax reports in the agreed format to Northern Trust Deposittary, the FCA and HMRC within the set deadlines
  • Treating Customers Fairly (TCF): Ensure the fair delivery of distribution payments and information to clients & ensure that clients marked as visually impaired receive the appropriate level of communication

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:
  • CISI Investment Operations Certificate
  • Understand and demonstrate an ability to liaise with external parties to ensure the effective movement of client money to ensure correct payment of distributions
  • Demonstrate an awareness of LGIM's aims, strategic plans and corporate culture
  • Knowledge of systems used in the day-to-day processing of tasks such as Rufus, EWS and MS Office suite
  • Detailed understanding of team processes including risks.
  • A working knowledge of role objectives, priorities and constraints
  • Up to date knowledge of CASS, GDPR, COLL and MiFiD regulations
