Job Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting a team of relationship owners and enable them to build business relationships with high-net-worth individuals, their families, family offices and institutions, through the following functions:

  • Understands and analyzes client needs and requirements and identifies investment opportunities that are suitable to the client's risk profile, aligned with the client's financial objectives, and comply with relevant policies and regulations.
  • Formulates investment strategies and bespoke solutions that express the official macroeconomic and financial markets views of Metrobank's Financial Markets Sector to enable clients to realize their financial objectives while managing risk in their investment portfolios
  • Regularly publishes presentations and reports for external and internal clients in coordination with the Research and Market Strategy Department, Treasury Group, Trust Banking Group, and Institutional Sales-Client Solutions Division that detail the general state of the economy and the rationale of the investment advice, opportunities, and solutions.
  • Client facing role in partnership with Institutional Investors Coverage Division Relation Managers, Private Wealth Division Relationship Managers, and Investment Distribution-Investment Specialists. Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining business relationships with target clients, in order to identify opportunities for bespoke financial solutions.
  • Providing investment advisory and asset allocation services.
  • Manage flow of views and ideas between Research / Trading / Client Solutions and Relationship Managers / Investment Specialists. Regularly communicates with research and trading partners to update views and generate new trade ideas.
  • Periodic meetings with internal partners to discuss market outlook, views, and themes in order to equip them to better identify opportunities among external clients.
  • Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications:
  • Graduate of Economics/ Business/ Finance degree or other related studies, MBA is an advantage
  • With at least 5 years of strong work experience and background in research, investment sales, private banking or wealth management
  • Preferably a Certified Treasury Professional and SEC Fixed Income Market Salesman license holder
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; Confident in talking to high net worth clients and internal partners
