Our client, a global titan in the banking and finance sector, is calling for seasoned professionals to join their ranks as a Vice President of Reporting Operations (FR). Position Overview

This high-impact role involves coordination, critical review, and finalisation of interim and annual report and accounts. The successful candidate must ensure compliance with the regulator's guidelines, external audits, and senior management reviews. Navigating through complex financial literature to extract key insights in both French and English would be a staple in your daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and finalise interim and annual reports and accounts for regulator guidelines, external audit, and senior management review.
  • Interpret IFRS statues/policy guidance/Regulatory guidance to practical application
  • Contribute to IFRS and local reporting to local regulators.
  • Coordinate Disclosure Forums and Connects with the Section owners of Annual and Interim Report.
  • Prioritise regulator queries and responses, working closely with Policy and FA teams to comply with new reporting requirements.
  • Prepare disclosure proposals and papers to facilitate discussions with senior stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Accounting qualification with 7+ years of work experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in Financial Reporting.
  • Change management experience is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in French would be highly advantageous.
  • Ability to connect and synthesise complex and partial inputs
  • Strong risk and control mindset.
