Preparation of Clean Trial Balance (Local & Group) for Trafigura entities.
Support accounting, cost and reporting processes including GL entries, accruals, reconciliations, analyses and monthly group reporting.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:
• 3 to 5 years of experience in the accounting field, experience in big 4 is preferred
• Advanced Excel skills/pivot tables
• Results Oriented. Meet deadlines on assignments
• Flexible and proactive attitude
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Independent team player with good communication skills - verbal and written in both Spanish and English
• Fast learner and comfortable operating in a fast paced environment

Key Relationships and Department Overview:
• Coordinate month end close with peers in MVD, local offices and head offices
• Monthly GL account analyses and reconciliations
• Sales control (invoices control, assess reclassifications, close dispatch control, accruals calculation)
• Review, calculation and booking of financial expenses
• Review of loans granted to producers, control and processing of interest invoices
• Fixed Asset process and reconciliation
• Lot Purchase Liquidation
• Maintenance of Producers Current Account / Collection Analysis and monthly report
• Import and export document reconciliation and booking
• Support local government requirements and support system/software developments
• Evaluation of existent controls and proposal of improvements
• Manage fluent interaction with other areas of the company (Operations, Finance, local team, etc)
• Support internal and external audits (follow up on audit resolutions)
