Job Description

Role Responsibilities:
  • Agreeing project objectives, effectively scoping each project
  • Setting the standards and methodology to be used in a project
  • Taking responsibility of projects through their entire lifecycle
  • Communicating with stakeholders to clarify the desired outcome of a project
  • Ensuring that all relevant processes are followed on projects
  • Administering the allocation of jobs and budgets on a project
  • Managing project personnel to achieve project objectives
  • Regularly review and analyse the project scope and submitting progress reports to stakeholders and senior managers
  • Stakeholder management, internal and external
  • Identifying project risks
  • Negotiating with suppliers and sub-contractors

Prior knowledge and skills:
  • 5+ years Financial Services experience (2+ years Unit Registry, Custodial Services or Superannuation experience)
  • Experience in managing, or exposure to delivering transitions projects such as Client onboardings, Client exits,, Fund Launches, Fund Closures, Restructures and/or tangible involvement in larger multi-stream projects
  • Polished and demonstrable interpersonal and client-engagement skills with the ability to delegate and give direction to specialist staff
  • Atlassian Jira experience preferred
