OUR IMPACT
We're a team of specialists charged with managing the firm's funding, liquidity, capital and relationships with creditors and regulators. Corporate Treasury manages the firm's financial resources and minimizes interest expense through liability planning, asset liability management, and liquidity portfolio yield enhancement. The division is ideal for collaborative individuals who have strong quantitative analysis skills and risk management capabilities since Treasury actively manages the firm's financial resources which are constantly changing due to business activity, markets, risk appetite, regulations and other factors.
YOUR IMPACT
We are looking for Associate/Vice President to join our GCLA and Cash management team in Warsaw. We're looking for candidates who will thrive in a dynamic environment where multitasking and time management skills are essential. Working in the Corporate Treasury division, you will have exposure to all aspects of the firm, including the Global Markets division and banking initiatives, to new business activities, and to critical strategic programs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed in order to work successfully with diverse internal and external stakeholders including businesses, external creditors and regulators.
Primary responsibilities in this role will include:
  • define the liquidity strategy of the firm, working with the Treasurer, Chief Risk Officer and Chief Financial Officer
  • collaborate with revenue divisions to manage risk for various liquidity and funding metrics
  • manage and optimize firm liquidity, inventory and interest income
  • monitor liquidity and rates risks relating to the firm's business activities, including financing and operational activities
  • produce key risk management metrics to manage day-to-day risks
  • develop and implement global and regional liquidity risk management and funding policies
  • create presentations, reports, and explains related to your project for discussion with senior leadership and team
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
  • 3-5 years of experience in banking or capital markets with exposure to liquidity risk management, preferably in Treasury or Treasury Oversight function
  • knowledge of liquidity risk metrics (liquidity coverage ratio, net stable funding ratio)
  • knowledge of funding products and markets
  • interest in financial markets and risk management, motivated by learning and continuous improvement
  • ability to work independently, form own judgment/opinions, provide insights and drive change
  • proactive with strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build relationships remotely
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to interact with and build relationships with people from different departments and levels of seniority
