Our client is a fast-growing boutique systematic hedge fund, known for pioneering global macroeconomics strategies with unmatched performance. As part of the Investor Relations team, our client is creating a senior Fund Operations role to take full ownership of the oversight of the administration of their large internal investment vehicle for employees.
Key Role Responsibilities:
  • Fund Administration oversight: instruct subscriptions, redemptions, and switches into funds.
  • Communication: liaise with internal employees (investors), and externally with prime brokers, the outsourced fund administrator, and counterparties placing trades and reconciling records between internal systems and third parties.
  • Oversight and spot checking of daily Trading P&L and NAV production produced by the TPA.
  • Internal Investor Relations & Month End processes providing employees with investor communication & reporting
  • Liquidity Management & Cash Flow coordination and rebalancing
  • Tax Analysis
  • Improving Operational Efficiency: Ability to work with complex data and Excel spreadsheets requiring advanced proficiency in Excel (including VBA) and possibly SQL or Python coding will be advantageous.

Your proficiency in handling complex data and Excel spreadsheets is crucial, requiring advanced Excel skills. In this role, you will have ample opportunities to propose and implement solutions, collaborating closely with the team's Python developer to streamline workflows and establish new processes. Your fresh ideas, stemming from your extensive fund operations experience, will be highly valued and actively encouraged. Process optimisation, and innovative thinking are integral to this position.

To be considered, candidates will hold a financial or mathematical degree and possess at least 3+ years' fund operations experience from either a buy or sell side firm or a fund administration service provider.
