This individual must be able to operate independently, provide sound advice to the senior leadership team, and manage employee relations across Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan.

BTIG is seeking a Head of Human Resources, APAC to lead the people and culture strategy and manage HR operations for the region. This individual must be able to operate independently, provide sound advice to the senior leadership team, and manage employee relations across Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the overall direction and goals for HR for the region
- Be a trusted advisor to the regional leadership team on people and culture matters, including talent, performance management, employee relations, and culture
- Lead cultural transformation initiatives focused on creating a 'one-firm' mindset, and a collaborative and high performing culture
- Design and execute initiatives relating to workplace experience, diversity and inclusion, and professional development
- Focus on building local employment brand, to attract the best talent, including a focus on early careers pipeline. Partner with the business to select and onboard the best talent
- Partner with the finance team to oversee regional payroll
- Partner with the global HR team to deliver the annual HR cycle, including performance reviews, promotions and remuneration review
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Solid track record as an HR generalist, preferably in financial services or professional services
- Ability to act as a trusted advisor across levels in the organization, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, identify opportunities and evolve the people and culture strategy accordingly
- Ability to execute the strategy by leveraging others around you and influencing others
- Understanding of the nuances across our markets in APAC
- Experience designing a people strategy that balances commerciality, pragmatism and best practice
- High levels of energy and resilience, enabling you to partner with the leadership team to continually raise the bar and enable change
- Open to senior HRBPs who are looking for a step up into a key leadership role
