Job Description

Major responsibilities
  • Verify invoice details and follow up on missing invoices and documents for all IS external invoices.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions including cash settling and tax by making sure that proper reconciliation is in place (e.g. GL vs. invoices).
  • Obtain and verify accrual information and prepare accrual and prepaid entries.
  • Work closely with resource manager and project manager for coordination of accurate project allocation and reporting.
  • Supports executive decision making by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analysis; studying proposed changes in methods and materials, and proactively proposes improvements to operations.
  • Seeks out opportunities to increase productivity by developing automated accounting process, coordinating information requirements.
  • Drive financial end to end process simplification/standardization with global and local initiatives.
  • Optimize opportunities to drive further collaboration with local and regional team for STP project.

Required skills and qualification.
  • Able to proactively contact and confirm with IS stakeholders for payment and accrual related issues.
  • Ensure accurate in number and proper recognition of costs without any omissions.
  • Flexible and able to handle any change in process or systems.
  • 7+ years of practical financial operations experience at an accounting (finance area).
  • Knowledge of general standard software (excel skills: Pivot tables and functions, PPT)
  • Reading and writing in English at business level
