Unsecured Lending & Payment - Wealth and Personal Banking
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Manager, Merchant Business Planning.
Principal responsibilities
• Monitor the Merchant Acquiring business performance, lead the team to perform regular reporting and have oversight on the IT budget and Operating Expenses
• Lead the team to conduct regular Compliance and Global reviews such as annual product review etc
• Manage the Merchant Relationship Manager (MRM) Handbook to ensure the Handbook is up-to-date
• Facilitate Relationship Managers to conduct regular reviews according to the Handbook
• Assist the Head of Merchant Business to develop business strategies especially on cost control and income generating
• Oversee GZC performance on Merchant Support
• Drive ad hoc projects if any

Requirements
  • University degree, in a related discipline or other relevant qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in project management or risk control and monitoring especially digital transformation, marketing, direct sales, lending business, merchant business and sales & distribution
  • Well-versed in latest payment technologies and business models. Proven experience in translating technology enablement into customer-centric solutions for consumer payment and merchant acceptance
  • Strong business acumen with problem solving skills and strong sense on doing the right thing especially on risk and control side
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Strong ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
