Due to expansion and growth, we are looking for a Team Leader for Collections.In this role, you will be responsible for driving team performance, maximising debt recovery and minimising losses.

Prior experience leading a team is required along with performance management, strong communication skills and a commitment to training and continuous improvement.

Sydney or Melbourne based.

Your role:
  • In collaboration with the Head of Collections, develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the company's goals.
  • Develop a high-performing Collections team.
  • Serve as the first point of contact and subject matter expert for team escalations and business matters/projects.
  • Identify technical skills gaps and deliver appropriate training interventions.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality assurance reviews of collections activities to ensure compliance with regulations, internal policies, and quality benchmarks

What you bring:
  • Proven experience developing and leading high-performing teams.
  • Experience in supporting and leading transformation/change/growth.
  • Proven track record in collections performance.
  • Adaptability to high paced, agile and high performing environments.
  • Strong communication, problem solving and coaching and training skills.
  • Asset Finance Collections experience is preferred, though not essential.
