Role Overview:

Provision of assistance in the oversight of accounting functions, financial reports production and tax compliance reporting process administration for the legal entities within LSEG group.

Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
  • Assist in accounting month end closing activities, including journal entry preparation, bank account open item clearing, etc.
  • Assist in the monthly Balance Sheet accounts reconciliation, cost commentary and other periodic financial analysis and reporting tasks.
  • Provide support in the statutory audit for legal entities, including financial information and accounting data collection and provision, response to audit inquiries, etc.
  • Provide support in the tax compliance for legal entities, including preparation for monthly and annual tax filing, tax payment and response to tax audit as requested.
  • Prepare financial data as required for government survey and other financial reporting based on local compliance requirement.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent is required.
  • 5 years' working experience in accounting and finance is required.
  • Hands-on experience with MS office and Accounting/Finance system is needed (SAP or Oracle is preferred).
  • English language proficiency is required in daily work.
  • Knowledge in Japanese language is preferred.
  • Ability to multi-task and quick learner with self-motivation.
