Position Summary

This incumbent will be responsible for supporting the development of Bank Group's strategy and key priorities, annual 5-year planning process of the Bank Group and strategic risk management of the Bank Group. This is a key role in strategy formulation in collaboration with internal stakeholders in the development of Bank wide strategies.

  • Assist in developing the Bank Group strategy and key priorities
  • Assist in formulating the 5-year plan of the Bank Group
  • Support the work of strategic risk management for the Bank Group
  • Assist in supporting the Management to develop and review strategic plans
  • Perform strategic planning analyses on businesses, products, operations and projects
  • Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders detailing Bank's progress towards long term strategic priorities

  • University graduate with major in business or finance, preferably with Master of Business Administration. HKIB qualification is an advantage.
  • Preferable over 5-8 years' experience in strategic or business planning under the following background:
  • At least 3 years' relevant experience in strategic planning or business planning in financial institutions
  • Sound knowledge in strategic and business planning
  • Strong analytical skill
  • Strong project management skill
  • Strong modeling and PC skills
  • Independent, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • A team player with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Good command of English and Chinese
