We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Head of Payment Proposition.

Principal responsibilities
  • Design, develop and implement the overall proposition for domestic and international payment, aligning it with business overall vision and goals
  • Enhance customer engagement via a new payment ecosystem and support the delivery of Customer Lifecycle Management agenda
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and customer needs, and use this information to drive innovation and develop new proposition ideas.
  • Develop and manage the budget for proposition development, ensuring efficient use of resources
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of existing products and propositions, and make strategic recommendations for improvements or enhancements
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to develop effective go-to-market strategies for new propositions
  • Anticipate and meet all regulatory, risk and compliance obligations in a changing regulatory environment
  • Lead the continuing development, design, implementation and improvement of the processes, structures, capabilities, capacity, operating model and infrastructure needed to deliver agreed plans and targets, collaborating with colleagues to maximise end to end integration, effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in propositions or strategy formulation, preferably in payments and transactional banking products or similar product and service management within retail banking / financial services / payment industry
  • Experience of product management, organizational leadership, and commercial management of transactional banking products or other similar products
  • Demonstrate change leadership and strategic focus with strong Growth Mindset and passion to champion change and promote innovation.
  • Strong customer centricity focuses to deliver market-leading products, services and experience to targeted customers
  • Highly effective navigation within a complex matrix environment, governance standard and regulatory context with agile ways of working and strong engagement with different levels of internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong track record in orchestrating and leading strategy development, business planning and implementations across multiple business and functional stakeholders to successful completion
  • Seasoned people leadership to engage, motivate and develop a diverse team; drive strong performance culture with clear aligned direction; build talent pipeline and business bench strength
  • Strong outcomes focus with adaptability, sound judgement and business insights in decision making, and accountability in delivery
  • University degree in Investment, Business Administration, Banking and Finance or related disciplines
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
