Job Purpose

Reporting to Lead Agency Performance Management, the candidate is responsible to support the Lead in data visualisation, analytics, as well as projects aimed at improving operational efficiency of both Agency and Bancassurance channels' performance management. The scope will include Agency, FA & Bancassurance channels in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia as well as Brunei Branch.

The Job

• Design and develop business tools and dashboards to automate and track business performance and project initiatives.
• Proactive and self-initiate in identifying and implementing automation support for the department and division to improve process and operational efficiency.
• Drive analytics and insights on distribution performance and behaviour to support business decision-making process.
• Support the Lead and work together with channel heads to develop, review and refine business development strategy.
• Work cross-functional to ensure the delivery of distribution strategic initiatives and execute any ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Our Requirements
• Degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or related.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in data analysis and business intelligence, preferably with insurance industry knowledge
• Possesses the following qualities: strong problem solving skills with the ability to think analytically and strategically, strong business acumen and sense of numbers, meticulous and proactive.
• Advanced skills with data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI) and data storytelling
• Proficient with data tools such as SQL and Python, and understanding of ETL (extract, transformation, loading) with working knowledge in handling large datasets.
• Experience in working with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint,
• Ability to automate processes, reports and trackers using Excel VBA and Python and SQL
