The Low Latency Group at LSEG is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager. We're building the next generation of capital markets technology. Global capital markets are an ocean of fast-moving, interrelated, and complex data. As a Product Manager you will interface regularly with our client, a prominent US government agency, and play a critical role in shaping and delivering solutions. Your responsibilities will span the entire product lifecycle, from conception to execution, as well as ongoing service and product improvements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and end-users to ensure successful product outcomes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Feature and Function Specifications:
  • Oversees production and release with end-to-end responsibility on feature/function specifications for propositions, products and services sold to regulators.
  • Define clear feature/function specifications aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and guidelines.
User-Centric Approach:
  • Obtain, organize, and filter regulatory user feedback.
  • Act as a key client contact for product-specific matters and commercial needs.
  • Advocate for user needs and incorporate feedback into product enhancements.
Risk Management and Reporting:
  • Lead reporting efforts related to product performance, milestones, and risks.
  • Track and reduce delivery risk associated with contract obligations.
  • Collaborate with project management resources assigned to Workbench Regulator.
Roadmap and Communication:
  • Manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with agency goals.
  • Provide transparent technical delivery communications to stakeholders.
  • Accountability for product outcomes through effective communication.
Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Interface with senior management to align product strategy with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with peers within the sales and account management (SAM) organization to expand the user base.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Client Relationship and Growth:
  • Work closely with the SAM team.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing client relationships.
  • Offer additional data and functionality to meet evolving client needs.
Innovation and User-Centricity:
  • Engage with regulatory users to gather insights and prioritize feedback.
  • Drive innovation by translating user needs into actionable product features.
  • Increase client adoption and retention through continuous improvement.
Domain Knowledge:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the global securities markets and exchanges including the use of market data to understand market structure.
  • Stay informed about regulatory trends and changes that impact the industry.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Computer Science, Economics).
  • US Citizen eligible for US Government Security Clearance.
  • Proficient in SQL and in using Python or R for data analysis.
  • Subject matter expertise in market data, asset classes and global capital markets.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in a financial technology, regulatory and/or government context.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $84,200.00 - $156,600.00.

Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
