Are you an experienced agronomist ready to make a difference in the Mallee, Wimmera, Riverina, SA and beyond? At Dodgshun Medlin, we're looking for a specialist like you to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and personal satisfaction, as we focus on advising clients rather than sales.
About Us

Dodgshun Medlin is a unique blend of agronomists, accountants, tax, finance, risk, and wealth specialists, all working together to create seamless planning for enterprise farming. Delivering foresight, clarity and confidence. Since our founding in 1957, we've played a significant role in transforming the Mallee into a prosperous cropping region. With our base in Swan Hill, a Collins Street office, and a growing network of regional satellites, we're expanding our reach across VIC, SA and NSW. We're committed to sustainability, diversity, and the welfare of our communities.
About You

We're looking for someone who:
  • Has a minimum of 5 years of experience as an agronomist
  • Can monitor, identify, diagnose, and recommend suitable weed, pest, disease, and nutrition management strategies
  • Has strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Can form trusting client relationships
  • Is an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
The Role

As a Broadacre Agronomist, your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing expert agronomic advice to our broadacre farming clients
  • Ensuring timely and excellent delivery of our service cycle
  • Collaborating with our seasoned team of advisors
  • Engaging with the farming community through discussion groups, crop walks, and industry events
  • Developing comprehensive weed control strategies and formulating tailored nutrition and fertiliser plans
  • Promoting operational efficiencies and implementing best practices for soil health and weed control management
  • Assisting clients with crop rotation planning and variety selection
  • Collecting and analysing paddock data to inform our agronomic advice and recommendations
Our Mission

Our goal is to develop thriving regional communities, supported by sustainable, confident, and prosperous farming businesses. We integrate agronomic and financial services into tailored, seamless planning. We're ethical, professional, hard-working, and empathetic, and we derive immense satisfaction from helping our clients achieve their goals. If this resonates with you, we need you on our team.
