Job purpose:
- Continuously institute proactive & preemptive actions to prevent deterioration of division asset quality portfolio.
- Provide Risk & Credit enablers and support to frontline business unit.
- Continuously manage risk through robust portfolio management framework.
- Ensure all operational aspects & overall monitoring activities of the department are conducted in an efficient manner and in compliance with the Bank's policies & guidelines.
Job responsibilities:
- Periodic assessment of SICR (Significant Increase in Credit Risk) for Stage 2 accounts of Group Enterprise Banking.
- Periodic assessment of CCPT (Climate Change and Principle-based Taxonomy) for borrowers/customers that are not required to perform annual review by the respective Relationship Manager and CCPT review by portfolio basis. Example like Small & Medium SME customers with standalone term loan below RM5m, fully cash backed facilities, etc.
- Random supplier's verification.
- Random portfolio review for high exposures / high risk accounts.
- Conduct site visit & negotiation with customers to resolve problematic accounts where necessary.
- Providing relevant information to Team Lead / Head, RSAQ who will participate in addressing all Stage 2 accounts / CCPT status in committee meeting.
Job requirements:
- List the acceptable entry level requirements for the job, in terms of:
- Qualifications and Experience
- Basic degree in business / accounting.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in credit / Recovery / Remedial Management.
- Skills and Knowledge
- Interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills.
- Computing (Microsoft Office - Words/Excel/Powerpoint).Risk Management/Credit Risk Analysis/Account Strategy.
- Product knowledge (including trade finance and treasury products), market knowledge & industry knowledge.
