Job Profile

Analyzing and spreading the historical financial statements in excel Working on Financial Models, DCF, LBO, and Football field analysis Deep understanding of creating project finance models and private equity models Identifying potential targets/buyers for M&A deals
  • Participate in new client discussions, conduct workshops and demos
  • Transition new engagements from client site to SGA Be responsible for quality check and client deliverable Managing a team of 7-10 analysts Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in Private Equity/Investment Banking
  • Analyzing of financial statements including Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statements (Including Free cash flow, Funds from operations) for public and private companies
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, including detailed 3 statement forecasting, multiple scenario analysis,  discounted cash flow valuation, capital structure modeling, LBO and merger modeling
  • Going through the supplementary schedules, notes and MD&A for the detailed breakups and normalizing the financial statements for exceptional items to arrive at the true profitability figures
  • Analyze the operating metrics to project the major line items like Revenue, EBITDA etc.
  • Preparing detailed capital structure and debt amortization schedules (tranche wise) including pro forma adjustments for the acquisitions
  • Candidates should have strong understanding of various classes of debt (secured/unsecured/subordinated) and financing options used by the borrower for the deal
  • Analyzing the pro forma metrics credit metrics like total leverage, interest coverage, fixed charge coverage etc.
  • Strong understanding of financial projections based on management guidance, company budget, consensus estimates
  • This will include creating various scenarios like management case, sponsor case, upside and downside case etc.
  • Strong understanding of calculating IRR, and various valuation technique like DCF, peer multiple and liquidation based recovery analysis for various debt pieces using recovery value for each asset type
  • Meeting strict deadline and ability to work under pressure
  • Provides inputs, involved in discussion and implementing new ideas to generate efficiency
  • Prior experience of working and communicating with clients and various stakeholders
  • Knowledge of databases such as Bloomberg, CapIQ, Pitchbook, Reuters, Factset, and Mergermarket
  • Manage staffing and attrition for allocated teams
