Senior Equity Analyst/Portfolio Manager – Institutional Indexing

We are looking for an individual who can take on a critical role on the analytical team with direct exposure to the founder and managing principal as well as most operational aspects of the firm. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the needs of sophisticated, high net worth investors. Strong candidates will possess extensive wealth & investment management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

· Take a lead role in the monitoring of investment holdings & market developments.

· Work under the direction of management on the development and management of new proprietary equity strategies.

· Assist portfolio manager with trading and ad hoc research on the firm’s proprietary equity strategies.

· Build or review suggested portfolio allocations based on client-defined needs and goals.

· Build Charts/Graphs in Excel based on business needs.

· Placing equity and fixed income trades or client directed trades as needed.

· Perform portfolio evaluations for client and prospective client portfolios.

· Assist in the creation of white papers, marketing initiatives, and other sales support.

· Other ad hoc analysis to support the investment and client service process.

· Support various client reporting initiatives relating to portfolio allocations and performance.


· CFA Charterholder required

· FactSet Experience Highly Preferred

· High Proficiency with MS Excel (VBA, VLOOKUP, PivotTables a plus), Word, & Adobe Acrobat.

· Strong wealth & investment management or experience in another analytical or reporting role.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication “soft” skills.

· Candidates should have the ability to adapt and take on new responsibilities in a fast-paced, in-office environment.

· Interest in a long-term career trajectory with a high energy, meritocratic firm.

· Candidate experience with Morningstar, Zephyr StyleAdvisor, and Bloomberg.

· Series 7/65/66 in addition to CFA designation is a plus.

· Schedule: 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday. In-office.
