About the Role:

As the Assessment Specialist, you will be responsible for the assessment of Public Practice Certificate applications, member profile & practice updates, maintaining professional indemnity insurance records and responding to a range of technical queries.

Your key responsibilities include:
  • Timely and accurate assessment of Limited and Public Practice Certificate (PPC) applications, practice structures, change of details, PPC cancellations and updates
  • Ensuring adherence to certification requirements, including monitoring, and supporting members to address any non-compliance.
  • Managing the Public Practice queries inbox; including the timely and accurate response to complex enquiries
  • Maintain customer history within our CE database by adding activities and cases containing information about every interaction with CPA Australia
  • Maintain advertised turnaround times for all assessment activities and take ownership and responsibility to manage member's enquiries from end to end
  • Identify and implement process improvements through sharing innovative ideas and customer insights with key stakeholders

This role is a parental leave, fixed term contract opportunity to February 2025

About You:

Our ideal candidate will be degree qualified preferably in accounting, commerce or a business related field, and have experience in an accounting, educational or assessment environment. You will also have:
  • Familiarity with company structures, scheme requirements and compliance framework concerning Public Practice
  • Strong customer service experience, and written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work and collaborate within a team
  • Initiative and ability to resolve issues with minimal direction
  • Be Flexible and passionate
