Permanent Assistant Accountant Role - Alexandria An exciting opportunity to join an established Marketing and Social Media business based in Sydney.
Your New Role
  • Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Maintain records of payables and reconcile accounts.
  • Manage client billing and invoicing.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables, follow up on overdue payments, and maintain credit control.
  • Update contact information and track interactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
  • Identify discrepancies and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Collect and process employee timesheets.
  • Collaborate with project managers to allocate hours correctly.
What you need to succeed
  • Experience Xero desired
  • Have exposure to working with high profile clients
  • Advanced/ Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills essential
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise and organise.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication - both verbal and written
