You will be joining a lovely charity, based close to Central Station, that helps to develop training and safety for members of the Australian public. They are a small and collaborative bunch of people, and want someone who will join on a long-term basis and can become part of the team.

Your new role
The Admin Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of administrative processes within the organisation. This position involves general administration tasks, travel arrangements, arranging meetings, inbox management, deliveries, office management, and providing support in coordinating events. Additionally, the Admin Officer will be responsible for answering the office phone line and providing administrative support.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.
  • Coordinate deliveries and maintain stock levels.
  • Ensure efficient stock management and inventory control.
  • Assist with office organisation, including maintaining supplies and equipment.
  • Support coordination of events and other administrative tasks.
  • Answer the office phone line and handle general enquiries.
  • As part of a small team, we contribute to overall office efficiency.
  • What you'll need to succeed
    You'll have solid experience in general admin, will bring excellent attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude to the role, as you will be responsible for varied tasks with high visibility across the business. You will be able to effectively manage your time, prioritising varied tasks across office management, event coordination, and customer-service. This is a small organisation and team, so you will be on many different streams as a true all-rounder!

    The salary is $60-70k + super, and being a benevolent charitable organisation, there is salary packaging to allow for the reduction in tax paid.
