About the Role:

As the Finance Business Partner, you are responsible for providing timely, quality reporting and analysis, driving the annual planning and budgeting process and improving operational processes. This includes but is not limited to the preparation and analysis of monthly reports, forecasts and budgets, competitor and industry analysis and assistance in development of the annual accounts.

Key initiatives include the development of business performance analytic and reporting capabilities to monitor business performance, coaching business leaders to apply a commercial mindset and collating insights to help business leaders make informed operational and strategic decisions. They will provide performance results to management and key stakeholders as well as share key findings and analysis to the wider organisation.

About You:

You will be Tertiary and CPA qualified with extensive experience in a similar position. Your will also have:

  • Customer mindset with extensive experience in stakeholder engagement; proven ability to influence and present ideas clearly to senior leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and influence decision making to drive commercial decision making
  • Excellent attention to detail, exceptional research, analytical and data interpretation skills
  • Proven ability to synthesize financial and non-financial data and present
  • sound recommendations based on analysis
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex financial information and ideas in everyday language to others who have varying levels of business acumen
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and data visualisation platform experience
  • Power BI skills would be ideal together with Budgeting and forecasting software experience
