Responsible for the client service activities for existing clients including financial institutions (mainly top-tier banks and insurance companies), pension funds, domestic asset management companies as retail fund providers, brokers/banks as distributors as well as AXA Group companies as unit-linked insurance provider.
  • Respond to day-to-day client inquiries and requests by communicating with internal counterparties; i.e. investments, sales, operations, legal & compliance, etc.
  • Client onboarding/offboarding: collect AML/KYC documents, coordinate fund set-up or account opening processes or liquidation processes, etc.
  • Client reporting: ensure client reporting of high quality by understanding the client requirements, arrange new client report set up with local/global client reporting teams, produce custom reports for institutional clients, translation of market commentary, etc.
  • RFP/RFI/DDQ: complete answers for questionnaires with support from relevant teams
  • Ensure that our global policies as well as local governance and regulatory standards are met, and that any required documentation is available, complete, archived and up to date.
  • Monitor client assets and cash flows and communicate with investment teams and operations as needed
  • Handle incidents or other issues with regard to clients or funds to reach a resolution appropriately.
  • Perform others tasks and projects as assigned from time to time and support other members within Client Group Core
Your Profile

  • More than 5 year working experience in Asset Management in broadly middle office functions
Technical Skills
  • Skills to manage client inquiries and requirements by liaising with related parties
  • Client facing skills with client-oriented mind set
  • Knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies
  • Knowledge and experience in client reporting and fund administration (both off-shore and on-shore)
  • Relevant written and verbal language skills in Japanese and English
  • Experience in creating and assembling necessary information and inquiring related parties to complete RFPs and RFIs for all types of clients
  • Detailed understanding of the local business/clients and its specific business requirements
  • Proven track record of being able to service institutional clients in the Japanese market (Preferred)
  • High level of PC skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Word

  • Strong client and service orientation, good interpersonal skills at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst producing quality work, time management skills within different cultures and languages;
