Worker Type: Contingent Worker

Responsible for providing, policy terms review, policy documentation support for all lines of businesses, including data entry, administrative duties and ad-hoc support to the team.

Primary Responsibilities
• Strategy and Planning
•Policy, Process and Procedures
•Manage the overall company policy terms review process
•Maintain product, system and process knowledge
•Attend relevant product and skill courses and passing on relevant points to other staff
•Environmental Awareness/Customer Focus
•Ensure timely communication with relevant stakeholders in respect to processing queries
•Develop good working relationships with all internal customers and stakeholders
•Technical Performance
•Processing insurance quotations, new business, renewals
•Complete underwriting and administrative duties such as
•renewal underwriting review including prepare referral, premium calculation for approval
•handling new and renewal business within designated underwriting authority
•arrange policy, endorsement and certificate issuance
•Update relevant registers including coded treaty register, new submission register and referral register
•Maintain data in relevant computer systems and other databases
•People Management

Preferred Competencies/Skills
• Good customer service and presentation skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• High Proficiency in computer skill
• Able to work independently with positive working attitude and willing to learn
• Professional qualifications in insurance or related disciplines

Preferred Experience
• Minimum 1+ years' working experience in the finance/insurance industry with knowledge of all lines insurance products

Preferred Knowledge
• Basic knowledge of the insurance industry
• Good Knowledge and understanding of general insurance products
