An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Paraplanning team. You will be part of the London region and will be working within a pod structure environment, where organisation, teamwork and communication is vital. This role is fast paced, and we need someone that is dedicated and able to deal with pressure. I have a fantastic team of 11 Paraplanners who have a vast number of experience and knowledge. I am proud to be part of the Quilter journey so far; and I would like you to play a part in its continued success. I am looking for someone that can work in a team and can deliver on our customer promises and support our Financial Planners to deliver quality holistic financial advice. Department: Quilter Cheviot Financial Planning (QCFP)

Location: London

The main purpose of this role is to provide paraplanning support to QCFP Financial Planners to ensure full preparation of all necessary documentation & information for review letters and suitability reports to be delivered by Financial Planners.

Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities/ Scope of role:
  • The provision of high-quality review letters and some suitability reports with analysis to Financial Planners to enable them to present recommendations to clients.
  • Determine the most appropriate way of presenting the report and ensure that it contains all the necessary information and background.
  • Ensuring that all work is completed within the required timescales and to the standards required.
  • Ensure that you have a thorough understanding of Quilter Financial Planning (QFP) Treat Customers Fairly (TCF) philosophy and your role within this.
  • In your role you should constantly ensure that customers are being treated fairly and highlight any situations where you believe this is not the case.
  • Keep your TCF and technical knowledge up to date through personal development and the training provided.
Ensure policies and processes are established, maintained and monitored in line with Conduct Risk requirements as defined by the FCA

Qualifications Required:

Preferably diploma qualified or working towards Diploma with only few exams away.

Key Experience Required:
  • Knowledge of systems and processes that support QCFP business including Defaqto, FE Analytics, Quilter platform, other wrap platforms & other strategic provider systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of products and services that QCFP may use to meet client needs, would be useful.
  • Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of the other related functions within Quilter Financial Planning and how QCFP interfaces with these, would be useful.
