Our Client is a Chinese Tech firm which is growing (Trade Finance Industry)
  • They are looking for their first hire for the Country.
  • No Physical office yet but will build people around this person and a office if this position becomes successful.
  • Need a Hunter mindset and the ability to close deals.

We are seeking a driven, sales-focused, strategic thinker as Country Head to join our team. Our ideal candidate will need to have a proven track record in increasing sales and customer retention, along with experience in managing overall team performance. The focus of the role is to develop effective go to market strategies, establish our presence in the Indian market and to promote growth

Role requirements:
  1. Research market trends and analyze competitor performance to develop effective sales strategies for India.
  2. Has concrete senior relationships within the ecosystem including financial institutions, regulators, Fintech companies, large corporates etc. to implement our business model and technology with our business partners.
  3. Work in line with KPIs and targets set out by executives.
  4. Manage the sales team performance, and set team targets and goals.
  5. Collaborating, building strong rapport and manage deliverables with other team members including operations, customer service, legal and product development. Compliance knowledge is a MUST.

Essential Skills:
  1. Possess a minimum of 10 plus years of experience in Business Development/ Sales / Relationship Management roles, preferably within sectors such as Corporate / Investment Banking, B2B FinTechs, SaaS companies and/or Factoring.
  2. Demonstrate a consistent history of surpassing sales targets, with proven experience in effectively engaging and managing relationships with C-level management.
  3. Exhibit in-depth understanding of trade finance and supply chain financing.
  4. Display exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  5. Demonstrate leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, and effectively manage and develop talent to achieve organizational goals.
  6. Exhibit a proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a proven ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities, overcome challenges, and drive continuous improvement and innovation within the sales function.
  7. Possess a strong sense of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to upholding ethical standards and building trust and credibility with customers, partners, and colleagues
