Your role includes interpreting accounting standards, collaborating with audit firms, reviewing statements, implementing best practices, coordinating training, and supporting client servicing and new opportunities.
Accountant Requirements:
- Expertise in investment management gained through fund administration, asset management, or audit roles.
- Proven success in negotiation skills.
- GAAP and IFRS.
- Familiarity with the Irish regulatory framework for Fund Accounting and Financial Reporting.
- Proficient in leading Fund Accounting and Financial Reporting systems.
- Understanding of how Fund Accounting systems interface with other systems.
Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply top practices to enhance client satisfaction and enhance departmental efficiency internally and externally.
- Verify and guarantee the issuance of financial statements by prevailing accounting and regulatory standards.
- Serve as the main contact for affiliated Audit Firms, organizing technical updates and staying informed about industry and regulatory changes.
- Recognize and tackle training gaps while setting performance benchmarks.
- Assist staff in resolving intricate financial reporting matters.
- Work alongside Compliance and other internal partners as required.
