Responsible for: Delivering Benefits support to project employees

Role brief
The Benefits Advisor role manages the day-to-day operations and administration of all health, welfare, retirement, and leaves/disability programs across the globe. This role provides a positive employee experience and delivers exceptional customer service while serving as a first point of contact for benefits-related inquiries.

Core Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for employees regarding questions or concerns related to their local benefits
  • Support day-to-day benefit plan operations including enrollment events, updates, terminations, and other program changes
  • Assist in managing and administering employee benefits programs such as retirement plans, health, welfare, and wellness programs, and leave of absence and disability policies/programs
  • Create and maintain accurate plan information, materials, and tools, including Workday Help articles
  • Identify opportunities for program and/or process improvements and communicate to leadership for evaluation
  • Participate in regular audits of benefits programs by preparing necessary reports and working with employees, vendors and/or payroll to facilitate corrections, as needed
  • Ensure program compliance with local laws and regulations as it relates to government compliance reporting, data privacy and security, and any other local requirements
  • Support and administer employee disability and leave management processes, ensuring compliance and coordination with third-party vendors, as required
    Aid in maintaining records of benefit program records adhering to retention and local compliance requirements
  • Follow compliance and quality guidelines to ensure correct information is provided for all Workday Help cases
  • Escalate high priority cases for immediate intervention by benefits team, payroll and/or vendors
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing benefits related invoices; track costs and provide monthly reporting to benefits team
  • Effectively meets defined service level agreements (SLAs) on timeliness and quality
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Fluent in English & mandarin (written & verbal) with strong communication skills
  • Experience in Workday HCM required
  • Sound understanding of international benefits market
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements for benefits and leave programs outside of North America
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to manage conflict and attention to detail
  • Passion for delivering a great employee experience
