The Red Granite Large Cap Growth team is seeking to hire a senior US equity research analyst to work with the investment team in our Milwaukee office. This individual will play a pivotal role in generating investment ideas and providing in-depth analysis primarily in the health care sector.  Leveraging your expertise and industry knowledge, you will contribute to the formulation of our investment strategy and recommendations for our portfolio management team. Since our strategy has a long-term high-quality focus, a large part of the job is research maintenance ensuring that our company holdings’ investment theses remain intact. 

The team manages over $1 billion dollars in assets for high net-worth individuals, institutions, foundations, and organizations. 


  • Industry Research: Conduct thorough research and analysis of the healthcare sector, including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices, and healthcare services, to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and investment opportunities.
  • Company Analysis: Evaluate individual healthcare companies through comprehensive fundamental analysis, including assessment of business models, product pipelines, regulatory landscape, and competitive positioning.
  • Equity Recommendations: Generate investment recommendations based on your analysis and present findings to the investment committee, providing actionable insights to support decision-making.
  • Collaboration/Communication: Collaborate closely with the portfolio managers and research analysts on the investment team providing ideas and insights along with written research reports and analyses. Communicate with clients and consultants when necessary.


  • Proven track record of success in analyzing and investing in healthcare companies, with a deep understanding of industry dynamics, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Excel; familiarity with financial data platforms.
  • Excellent analytical abilities, critical thinking, and attention to detail, with the ability to distill complex information into actionable insights.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate investment thesis, present findings, and interact with investment team and clients. 
  • Self-motivation and natural curiosity to learn and analyze companies and industries.



  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) preferred.


  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in the health care industry or as a health care analyst.  


  • Desired: CFA Charterholder
