An exciting opportunity has arisen with a well-respected leader in the financial industry, for an experienced professional to join their team as a Senior Manager Finance - Non-financial Risk".

Position Overview

As a Senior Manager Finance - Non-financial Risk with this highly regarded company, you'll be an integral part of their efforts to provide exceptional service and build long-lasting relationships with their customers. Playing a key role in achieving the mission, you will work in a supportive environment that celebrates innovation, continuous learning, and making positive impacts in the communities they serve.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the delivery of the Finance Risk and Control governance.
  • Improve Global Risk and Control Assessment and ensure issue management.
  • Drive delivery of effective Finance COO Risk and Culture Governance
  • Carry out Quality Assurance and oversight on the governance reporting.
  • Handle ad-hoc reporting requirements such as project reporting and one-off reporting.
Requirements
  • Experience in an Operational Risk, Control Office or Audit Function, preferably in Finance.
  • Competence in working with Financial Services
  • Part qualified or qualified Accountant with ACCA/CIMA/ and/or an undergraduate degree.
  • Proficient with risk and control assessments
  • Demonstratable initiative and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple and competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance procedures will be advantageous.
