About The Role

The Fixed Income Portfolio and Client Administrator provides support to the Core Fixed Income administrative team. The team engages in client service and operational functions and provides administrative support to the Core Fixed Income portfolio managers and traders. Additionally, as a client liaison, accuracy, timeliness of work, and professional communication are critical to maintain client confidence and trust.


  • Effectively communicate with clients, advisors, team members, broker dealers and custodians
  • Maintain analytical and portfolio accounting software applications
  • Monitor trade and settlement process to ensure consistent communication and accurate delivery between client custodians and broker dealers
  • Ensure securities and portfolios are accurately represented and reconciled
  • Maintain client management system including reporting, billing and necessary updates and maintenance
  • Provide support to operational efforts, as needed
  • Support Core Fixed Income sales and client service needs and requirements

Experience and Education

  • Five or more years of experience with fixed income investments at an asset management firm
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Education or experience in business, economics, or finance and/or experience working with the public preferred
  • Experience servicing customers preferred
  • Experience and competency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with Bloomberg, BondEdge®, APX and Moxy is preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Must be detail oriented and have demonstrated ability to solve problems and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to follow defined processes where they exist while also making adjustments and using good judgment when business circumstances dictate
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
