Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Fertilizer Business Developer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the fertilizer industry, strong relationships with producers and buyers, and a proven track record of business development and sales. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive growth, expand market presence, and contribute to the success of thei trading operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with fertilizer producers, suppliers, and buyers to expand our network and secure new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to grow sales volumes and revenue in the fertilizer trading segment.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers and buyers to maximize profitability and mitigate risk.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including logistics, operations, and finance, to ensure smooth execution of trades and timely delivery of products.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and risks in the fertilizer market.
  • Provide market insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making and strategic planning initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of fertilizer products, market dynamics, and supply chain logistics.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and closing business deals, meeting sales targets, and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong network of contacts within the fertilizer industry, including producers, suppliers, traders, and buyers.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
