Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CFO or Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our real estate development, investment and fund management business. The Financial Controller will play a crucial role in financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and analysis, providing insights to drive informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Financial Management:
  • Oversee all financial aspects, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the real estate development, investment and fund management operations.
  1. Financial Reporting:
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements, and other financial reports for management and stakeholders.
  1. Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and financial forecasts to align with organizational goals and strategies.
  1. Risk Management:
  • Identify and assess financial risks, implementing strategies to mitigate them effectively while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  1. Compliance and Audit:
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements. Liaise with external auditors and lead the audit process.
  1. Cash Flow Management:
  • Monitor cash flow, manage working capital, and optimize financial liquidity for smooth operations and fund management.
  1. Financial Analysis:
  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, assess investment opportunities, and identify areas for financial improvement.
  1. Process Improvement:
  • Continuously evaluate and improve financial processes and internal controls to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
  1. Team Leadership and Development:
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and performance excellence.
  1. Stakeholder Communication:
  • Communicate financial insights and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Professional certification (e.g., KCPA, CPA, CMA, CFA) is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as a CFO, Financial Controller or similar role within the real estate or investment industry.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate finance, fund management, and related financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software and systems (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, financial modeling tools).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
