Job Title: Senior Product Manager - FX Desktop Applications, Workspace

As a Senior Product Manager in the FX Desktop Product Team within the LSEG Workspace ecosystem, you will play a pivotal role in crafting our FX Pre-Trade & Analytics product offerings.

What you'll be doing: In this role you will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution of our FX Desktop product portfolio. You will collaborate with diverse and multi-role teams, including development, design, marketing, and sales, to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. Your primary responsibilities include:
  • Product Strategy and Roadmap: Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for FX applications, aligning with business goals and market demands.
  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor products, and client feedback to identify new opportunities and improve existing offerings.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, design, sales, customer support and marketing teams to ensure successful product delivery and go-to-market strategies.
  • User-Centric Approach: Champion a user-centric demeanor, prioritizing user, customer support feedback and usability testing to drive product improvements.
    Incorporate user personas and their workflows into our product development process to deliver a detailed and intuitive user experience.
  • Client Engagement: Engage directly with clients to collect feedback, understand their needs and problems, and ensure that product development is aligned with customer expectations.
  • Autonomous Leadership: Demonstrate a high degree of self-organization and autonomy in decision-making to drive the product forward, making informed choices that align with the overall product and business strategy.
  • FX Expertise: Leverage your experience in FX Sales or Trading, with a strong focus on analytic tools, market conventions, best market practices, marketplace evolution and user personas to bring deep proven experience to the product development process.
  • Partner Management: Build and maintain relationships with key business colleagues, both internally and externally, to ensure a collaborative approach to product development and delivery.
What you'll need:
  • Experience: Strong focus on FX instruments pricing apps and FX data and market conventions. Ideally, 5+ years of product management experience. Previous experience in FX Sales or Trading, FX Risk management and/or FX market execution is essential.
  • Leadership: Proven track record to lead projects with cross-functional teams and drive product strategy independently. Passionate about making things happen and upbeat enough to move the needle.
  • Teammate: Strong standout colleague with experience of working with virtual teams from different functions/regions.
  • Product Engineering: Practitioner or familiar with lean and agile engineering approaches is beneficial; able to critically assess, challenge and inspire change on how we build things, for a quicker and better delivery to market.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving capacities, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Ideally, used to product analytics tools and to define and supervise meaningful metrics for the products and the business.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey sophisticated ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Financial certification (CFA, CAIA, ICMA) is ideal but not required.
