Job Title: Accountant, Equity Compensation Control

Location: 55 Water StNew York, NY - Hybrid

  • Maintain the account master for employee loans / cash advances in the general ledger for loan set up, payments and interest accruals etc.
  • Process monthly / quarterly journal entries to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data pertaining to cash advances
  • Perform monthly balance sheet and expense account reconciliations for loan receivables, interest and reserve accounts
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports for senior management and draft footnotes for 10-Qs and 10-Ks
  • Work collaboratively with multiple process owners across the organization globally to ensure complete and accurate accounting
  • Participate in the documentation and improvement of accounting processes
  • 2 - 4 years of experience in an accounting department
  • Extensive experience using MS Excel. Must be able to work with large amounts of data including Pivot tables, Lookups and a wide range of formulas
  • Working with accounting software, preferably Oracle
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize time sensitive assignments
  • Excellent research and problem solving skills with the ability to proactively seek solutions
  • Gatekeeper of highly sensitive and confidential information
Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required
Hybrid Working - We are currently operating a hybrid model for our shared services employees (including this role). We anticipate continuing these arrangements for the foreseeable future with periodic review.

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000

The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
