Knowledge, Skills and Experience required
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electronics / Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
  • 4+ years experience in building datastore solutions
  • Proven knowledge of Object-Oriented programming languages (e.g. Python)
  • Experience in translating business requirements into logical data models and to create technical design specifications.
  • Understanding of developing modern reporting frameworks.
  • Hands on experience developing ETL processes loading Data Warehouses/Data Marts (Informatica is a bonus)
  • Knowledge / Experience with Cloud Native technologies on at least one of the major cloud services providers (AWS preferable) - MWAA, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Anthos, Kubernetes, ECR, Kafka, DbT, Datadog, Moogsoft, Git, Bitbucket, Control-M, Jira, Confluence.
  • Experience with building a complete full-stack solution
  • Build automation tools to support CI/CD pipeline
  • Scripting capability to support DevOps and Quality Engineering work
  • Unit and functional testing
  • Git source control
  • Databases & SQL skills using Oracle, Snowflake or other relevant database technologies. Exposure to a Data Warehousing platform like Snowflake
  • Backend architectures understanding including integration patterns.
