Capital Markets operates a broad range of international equity, fixed income, related exchange-traded funds (ETFs)/exchange-traded products (ETPs) and foreign exchange markets that enable customers, communities and economies to grow.

The division combines LSEG's Capital Markets division with trading platforms and the Tradeweb fixed income trading platform, supporting customers which seek to trade and raise capital on a global basis.

Post Trade operates a group of multinational clearing houses that provide counterparty risk mitigation across multiple asset classes for sell-side clearing members and buy-side clients in conjunction with trading venues globally. Our regulatory reporting services help clients comply with multiple global reporting regimes all through one platform.
  • LCH is a multi-asset class clearing house, serving major exchanges and platforms and a range of OTC markets, OTC and listed rates, credit-default swaps (CDS), FX, fixed income, commodities, cash equities, and equity derivatives.
  • UnaVista is a regulated platform that helps customers meet their reporting compliance obligations and reduce operational and regulatory risk through reporting, reference data and analytics solutions. In addition, it provides regulatory solutions, confirmation matching, data solutions, MIFIR each-way reconciliations and Rules Engine.
Index Technology

Benchmark & Index Solutions consists of FTSE Russell and Refinitiv Benchmark Services. FTSE Russell is a global provider of benchmarks and indices with industry-leading capabilities across asset classes, styles, and strategies. Refinitiv Benchmark Services provides interest rate and FX benchmarks including WM/R closing spot rate, CDOR and Refinitiv Term SONIA.

Role responsibilities:

Each project is different, but typically you can expect to be working on the following:
  • Construction and maintenance of test scripts to match requirements;
  • Collaborating with colleagues around the world to define suitable performance KPIs;
  • Establish the setup in order to monitor the database and server performance;
  • Participation on providing test estimates for performance;
  • Documenting the test steps and recording the test results;
  • Accurate recording of performance issues and follow-up with DEV and Solutions teams;
  • Suggesting new processes and techniques to enhance the current performance testing process;
  • Reviewing test environments configuration and processes to facilitate continuous improvement.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
  • Good Java experience: Java Knowledge on developing both Command Line applications and GUI applications;
  • Experience in testing applications deployed in cloud (AWS);
  • Able to assess the technical risks inherent in a software and infrastructure platforms in respect of performance and resilience;
  • Proven ability to develop and manage test cases/scripts, test criteria & procedures;
  • Proven ability to translate scope and business rules into test cases/scripts;
  • Have basic SQL knowledge.
