We are on the lookout for a dynamic Commercial Director to join a rapidly growing professsional services firm. This is a unique opportunity for a rising star to make a significant impact and accelerate their career growth.

While based primarily in Singapore, this role provides the exciting opportunity to operate across all major jurisdictions, offering rich exposure and depth of expertise in the global financial landscape.

As a Commercial Director, your critical role will be to spearhead the expansion of services across Asia. You'll be navigating diverse sectors such as investment funds, real estate, private equity, and multi-assets, and potentially structured finance work. Your main focus will be the investment funds space.

You'll be at the forefront of selling a comprehensive suite of services that deliver robust solutions to investment managers. This could span from fund administration and fund set-up, whether it's offshore, VCC structures, or SPVs, SPC, to providing corporate and governance aservices.

But we're not just looking for any candidate. We're scouting for a professional who not only has a solid track record but is also brimming with ambition and drive to build and expand the fund service offerings in Asia.

Responsibilities
  • Drive new client acquisitions and boost revenue growth in Asia
  • Engineer a robust pipeline of profitable opportunities across the region that caters to the needs of clients in Private Equity, Real Estate Funds, Private Credit Funds, and Hedge Funds
  • Identify and engage potential clients within the fund industry
  • Conceptualize and implement growth strategies for business development
  • Collaborate with the senior management team to innovate new products and stay abreast of market trends Initiate market outreach programs based on strategic initiatives
  • Cultivate and manage a network of influencers and business contacts
  • Develop, oversee, and advance a pipeline of new business opportunities Advocate the firm's services through various channels such as articles, guest appearances on business shows


Qualifications
  • Demonstrated success in business development, with a focus on fund services, financial solutions, and corporate services, preferably within an established fund administration organization, financial service provider, asset management firm, or securities services provider.
  • A proven track record of enhancing office revenue and profitability.
  • An existing network of third-party influencers and business contacts is highly desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the financial market, particularly offshore funds markets.
  • Exceptional self-confidence and strategic thinking abilities with a proven capability to lead or contribute to discussions with a broad range of stakeholders at different levels of seniority.
  • Proven sales skills with a history of meeting or surpassing targets.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with high-level figures in the cultivation of client relationships.
