Management Accountant (Power & Energy)

The CompanyOpportunity to join a major leader in the energy and power sector as Management Accountant.

The RoleReporting to the Head of Department, you will work in a team and be responsible for overseeing the financial and operational performance of the subsidiaries, joint venture partners and investee companies across the region. You will be responsible for monthly and quarterly reporting, variance analysis. You will help identify areas of risk and opportunities and propose measure for risk mitigation while ensuring proper corporate governance.

This is a highly visible role with the regional office and you will have the opportunity to participate in board meetings with both internal and external stakeholders and supporting the Head Office and regional teams on potential investment or divestment activities.

Your ProfileAs the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience:

• At least 5 years of experience in FP&A or Management Reporting role
• Exposure within an asset based industry such as Power/Energy/Infrastructure will be ideal
• Ability to be hands-on, proactive and work well in a team based environment will be essential
• Strong excel skills
• Ability to travel about 15% of the time is a must
