They are looking to hire a FP&A consultant on an initial interim basis to report directly into the Deputy CFO, focusing on cost analysis across the global business based locally in Ireland. The idea is that this assignment will go permanent over time

Role Responsibilities
  • The individual will be a key contributor to assisting the leaders in the business understand performance
  • Variance to budget analysis
  • Assist in identification of synergy opportunity or confirmation of synergy achievement
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting to support inputs for business cases
  • The person will work closely with other finance colleagues
  • Again the individual will need to be good with data and excel
  • Our data for costs is spread on many systems and the core data can require detailed analysis
  • Similar to the commercial person, we are rolling out our new FP&A tool and there may be an opportunity for this individual to get involved in that to assist us in the roll out and adaptation of it.
  • Key outputs of the person will be:
  • Headcount and associated cost reporting by location, department with trend analysis and budget variance work
  • Comparison of costs month on month, year on year and versus budget for key cost line items
  • Ad-hoc reporting required to support ongoing initiatives

Requirements:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant
  • Proven track record of producing detailed analysis and MI
  • Experience working in a PE backed environment is extremely desirable within Financial Services
  • Experience working with large data sets in excel and translating that into dashboards using BI tools (PowerBI)
  • Must be based in and legally eligible to work in Dublin, Ireland in a hybrid working environment
