We're seeking a future team member in the role of Specialist Application Support Analyst to join our team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA and Lake Mary, FL.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Must be experienced with new application development as well as application support, Windows server administration skills.
  • Must be adept in Splunk & AppDynamics query writing, & alert creation, SQL administration and query building
  • Experience with Linux (RHEL), Apache, Tomcat
  • Experience with the agile methodology.
  • Experience working in geographically dispersed teams
  • Experience working with large databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, Vertica)
  • Work Hours - 10AM-7 PM.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree is beneficial10-12 years of diverse experience in multiple areas of information technology required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
  • Ability to work additional hours as required by business need and provide off hour support as needed
  • Infrastructure support and Support of BNY Mellon customizations
  • Participate in Agile based software development model and Provides guidance on technical subject matter to associates.
  • Troubleshooting moderate to complex issues.
  • Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.

Nice to have:
  • Working knowledge of DevOps tools GIT, Ansible, Jenkins, Nagios, Kibana, Solarwinds, Splunk, AppDynamics Prometheus, etc.).Working knowledge of Event Management principles, methodologies.
  • Strong production support background and Incident & problem management background
  • Full stack development knowledge, Real-world RESTful web services experience and Working knowledge of cloud-based technologies, containerization.
